Kelly Cavolo from the CDSS Child Trafficking Program Support Unit and Ummra Hang from the CSEC Action Team Advisory Board will be co-facilitating this training to shift the way we discuss children and challenge common stereotypes. The language we use shapes how we interact with children and youth, influencing how they perceive themselves both in the short and long term. This training will support service providers to be aware of our biases and how biases inform our use of language.
