If Help Had Come First: Lived Experts on Community Pathways

The first session in the Safe & Sound Lunch & Learn 2026 series, and the second session in the 2026 Child Abuse Prevention Month webinar series! This session features a panel of lived experts reflecting on their own journeys with child welfare system involvement and what kinds of supports might have helped their families before a report or investigation ever occurred. Composed entirely of individuals with lived expertise, the conversation will focus on the community-based supports that can create community pathways to strengthen families and keep children safe.
